A note from Elizabeth, the founder & CEO of Sunny Haven Farm Animal Sanctuary

Founded in 2020, the Sunny Haven sanctuary is the forever home to 27 rescued farm animals who now live alongside our dogs and cats in a safe, peaceful and loving environment.
In their former lives, our farm animals were generally used and/or bred for wool, meat or egg production, living stagnant, dreary lives separated from family members. Many had become pregnant, sick or simply too old to produce. In essence, our rescues were living on borrowed time and we took them away from all that.
As a family, we work hard to make SHFAS a safe forever home where our animal friends can live long, happy lives. We love spoiling our residents, whether its by placing cinnamon and rose petals inside the chicken coops, adding solar fans for the sheep, keeping the indoor duck pond sparkling clean or by providing specially prepared nutritious food to ensure that they thrive.

We are super grateful for the SHFAS Team and others who come work with us so we can maintain a clean and happy place for our wonderful residents and for all future rescues.
